Sunday Mornings
All sessions will be led by a member of the Adult Forum Committee, and meet after the 9:30 service during the children’s Sunday School time. Each meeting stands on it's own, so missing one week does not "put you behind" for any of the sessions that follow.

We are currently in a series of case studies involving "real world" situations, which throw into sharp relief various ways in which our faith and beliefs interact with the society as a whole. We encourage you to consider these sessions and the implications they may have in your life or in the lives of others.

SOUL SISTERS: Women in Scripture Speak to Women Today
 Tuesday evenings: September 21 – October 26, 2010 – 7:00 p.m.

Beautiful portraits by renowned artist Louis Glanzman have inspired author Edwina Gateley to reach into the soul of women from the New Testament, and apply their stories to situations that have happened in modern times.  Each chapter begins with a portion of scripture that pertains to the woman in the painting, and continues with poetic text. The twelve portraits and chapters include a variety of biblical women such as: Elizabeth, Anna, Mary, Martha, the Samaritan Woman, The Penitent Woman and Mary Magdalene. Edwina Gateley's narrative offers such a fresh perspective! This book is a gem and a real keepsake. Edwina Gateley's insight into these women's lives engage the reader, inspiring and challenging the possibilities for women's relationships today, as well as offering a deeper understanding of the women in Sacred Scripture. MESSIAH WOMEN'S RETREAT
 “Gratitude: Embracing our Blessings”
Daylesford Abbey, Paoli, PA Friday October 15 - Sunday October 17, 2010  Would YOU like to spend a reflective, restful, prayerful fall weekend among friends and focusing on the blessings of YOUR life.  The Rev. MaryJo Melberger, will serve as our retreat leader. Mark your calendars now and plan to come for the weekend; arrival begins at 4:00 p.m. Friday and our planned departure is by noon on Sunday. Conversations in Faith
2nd and 4th Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:00 PM

Join us in the Guild Room to informally discuss a variety of aspects of our faith. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn, grow and support each other in the continuing journey of our life with Christ.  Our first meeting will take place Wednesday, September 23rd.  At that time, we will determine the topic we will talk about and order the information we will use to facilitate our time together.
