VESTRY HIGHLIGHTS from October 15, 2018

October 23, 2018

Here are just a few of the topics that came up during the October Vestry meeting:

  • Diocesan Convention is open to everyone and runs from Friday, November 9 through Saturday, November 10, 2018, held at the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral.  Thank you in advance to our delegates this year, Barbara Stevenson and Brenda Weir.  Additional information is available at https://www.diopa.org/diocesan-convention-2018/.  If you would like to attend, contact Kristen Kelly or Jennifer Tucker at 215-627-6434

  • Our 2019 Stewardship campaign begins on October 21, 2018.  Please help us save on postage by picking up your envelope in the Narthex.  Your pledge is essential to continuing successful ministries and furthering the vision of “Our Next Steps”.

  • The Vestry is considering bringing a Parish-wide Service Project to you and our community in early 2019.  Be on the lookout for exciting news to follow!

  • Our next coffee with the Vestry will be on Sunday, November 18, 2018.  We want to hear your thoughts about how we may help facilitate your spiritual growth in new or different ways, ministries you may want to start or know more about, suggestions to enhance our current ministries, forums or action groups that would interest you, and more.

If you missed Vestry Highlights last month, be sure to check out the September meeting minutes posted on the Parish Hall bulletin board.  Thank you for your continued support.  No reason to wait for the next Coffee with the Vestry to share your ideas.  Give us a call, stop us at church, or send us an email.

In the words of our Bishop, “We belong to one another. We make one another stronger.”
