Music at Messiah - Summer Performances

What do a bassoon, a flute and violins have in common? 

They will all be at Messiah this summer!

July 21: Brenna Zepp, bassoon, will play movements from the Bassoon Sonata by Saint-Saëns and the Grand Concerto for Bassoon by Hummel, with piano accompaniment. Brenna is a graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School and is now studying classical music performance at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. 

 

July 28: Ethan Frankel and Spencer Stover, violins, will play part of the Bach Double Concerto, and more to be announced. Ethan graduated from Spring-Ford Area High School this summer, and plans to study economics, computer science, and music. Spencer graduated from William Tennent High School, and is going to major in violin performance and music education. 

 

August 18: Music will be provided by Sara Sablosky, flute and Don Reese.  Throughout August, some of the fine singers from our choir and congregation will also be featured.
