Church School Registration and the Start of our Fall Season set for Sept 8th
Church School registration will open on Sunday, September 8 following the 9:30 service. Join us at our sign up table for a fun activity and plenty of registration forms! We do ask that returning families fill out a new form each year. It helps to keep our information up to date. You ARE able to register at ANY time before
or after our first day of church school. There is no deadline. Children are ALWAYS welcome to come on any Sunday.
Visitors are ALWAYS welcome, with or without a registration form. Our forms simply help us gather information on ages, food allergies, etc. so that we can make our church school as safe and age appropriate as possible.
Our first official day of church school will be September 15.
If you are new to our church school program this year, here is a bit about what you can expect:
Children from ages three-grade six are invited to join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the upstairs of the Parish Hall.
During church school, children will receive a snack while participating in our weekly lesson/activity.
At approximately 10:15 we lead the children back into church so that they can reunite with their families for communion and the remainder of the service.
Depending on the size of our group on a Sunday morning, we will group the children according to ages so that they can better engage in the lesson.
There will be church school every Sunday through Mother’s Day except for several Sundays which will be announced.
If there is no church school, children are welcome to utilize our Kids’ Corner in the back left of the church.
We have a yearly Christmas pageant that will take place on the Sunday before Christmas. All children are invited to participate!
We also have a children’s service that takes place on Mother’s Day each year. For the service, children are invited ahead of time to participate in readings and music for the congregation.
We also have several fun family events throughout the year!
NURSERY care will begin on Sunday, September 15. Parents are invited to bring infants and toddlers to the nursery for care during the 9:30 service. Nursery care will continue every Sunday unless otherwise posted.
