Church School Lesson for Home: Resurrection Egg Memory Game!

Dear families- In case you missed our Google Meet yesterday, here is our lesson that you can do at home!
New and Goods: This week we shared something that we did in the warm weather!!
Opening Prayer:
Dear God,
Thank you for our time together today. Please help us learn about the story of your resurrection as we play a fun game together.
In Jesus' Name we Pray,
Amen
Activity #1:
We played a memory game that is reminiscent of the resurrection eggs that we have made in other years. The game is just like a regular game of memory, except that your matches will be symbols that represent parts of the resurrection story.
You and your child can take turns choosing two numbered eggs to click and slide out of the way to reveal the symbol underneath. If you reveal two matching symbols, you get to take another turn! (You can either slide the eggs off to the side or delete them.) As you reveal new symbols, you can talk about what part of the story they represent. Once you have uncovered all of the symbols, you can go to the third page of the game to click and slide each symbol into chronological order to complete the story.
(Note: if you choose to delete the eggs while playing the game and you would like to play again, you can go to File then Version history then See version history. You can then choose to revert back to the earlier version with all of the eggs.)

Bonus Activity:
Here is a bonus activity you may want to try at home. I have ALWAYS wanted to do this, but have not yet tried. Maybe this will be the year! I would love to see pictures from anyone who makes one!

Closing Prayer:
Dear God,
Thank you for the opportunity to learn the resurrection story. Please help us to keep the story in our hearts as we go through the week and continue to show love to others.
In Jesus' name,
Amen
