Church School News
Hi Everyone! Join me tomorrow morning at 10:30 for another virtual church school meeting! Once again I will send out the link via my g-mail account. For safety purposes I am not including the actual google meet link in this email. If you do not receive the link I sent out via g-mail or you have a friend or grandchild who would like to join, please email me and I will send you the link! Here is our Bible story for the week(note: I will be reading the story to the children from a Children's bible so it will sound different. I am including this story in case you would like to revisit it with your child.): Deuteronomy 6:1-9 The Great Commandment 6 Now this is the commandment-the statutes and the ordinances-that the Lord your God charged me to teach you to observe in the land that you are about to cross into and occupy, 2 so that you and your children and your children's children may fear the Lord your God all the days of your life, and keep all his decrees and his commandments that I am commanding you, so that your days may be long. 3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe them diligently, so that it may go well with you, and so that you may multiply greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you. 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.[a]5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. 6 Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. 7 Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise. 8 Bind them as a sign on your hand, fix them as an emblem[b] on your forehead, 9 and write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
Some questions we will be discussing: Reflection Questions: * Last week we talked about the ten commandments. Why do you think this is called the Great Commandment? * What can we do to make sure we remember God every day? * Who can we tell about God's stories?

Some Fall News: Next Saturday we will be delivering "Fall Fest at Home" bags to all children enrolled in Church School. Since we are not able to gather in person this year for our Fall Fest, the bag will contain a pumpkin to decorate, some fall crafts and an All Saints Day coloring/activity book provided by Father Keith. If you have children or grandchildren who are not on our weekly church school list and you would like a bag, please send requests to this email account ASAP: tmreichley@gmail.com.

God's Peace, Tiffany
