Addressing the sin of violence

My Dear Sisters and Brothers, In a holy sanctuary, less than five hours from our beloved diocese, families walked into the Tree of Life synagogue for a Shabbat service. Women, men and children beginning their sacred service with prayers of gratitude for life. A man filled with hate and rage, encouraged by a society that seems to worship at the altar of hate and violence, walked in and proceeded to slay the innocent. As he shouted, "all Jews must die," eleven beautiful children of a loving God were slaughtered because of hate. Many others, including first responders, were also grievously injured in this attack. "Following the Way of Jesus" Discussion Group 10/10 thru 11/14

STARTING Wednesdays, October 10– November 14, 2018 – 10:30 to noon in the Guild Room Are we really following Jesus? We read his story, hear his gospel lessons week after week, but do we live out what they teach us? We will learn of the Jesus Movement which is centered in the “Way of Love” and of a process to live in a way of love. Come be part of this important conversation. “Unforgettable” Concert @ Messiah November 17

Cordus Mundi Presents “Unforgettable” Concert Bucks County-based male a cappella group Cordus Mundi, led by Messiah music leader Rick Rosen, opens the 2018-2019 season with a collection of memorable music, entitled “Unforgettable”.
