Programs for Children & Youth
The Church of Messiah is blessed to provide a variety of active programs for our kids and youth. Through these programs children and youth of all ages learn the love of Jesus and the love of the parish community as well.
Children of all ages are always welcome to attend and participate in the church’s worship services. Liturgies are planned to recognize and accommodate the shorter attention span of our younger parishioners.

Children

Church School - Our program is for children in grades PreK - 6th. We meet on Sundays, September through May, at 9:30 in the Parish Hall. We have lots of fun learning about Jesus! And then we bring the children over to the service to reunite with families before the Eucharist!

You can choose to join us in person or virtually! We do have guidelines in place to keep children and adults as safe as possible.

Safety protocols include: asking children and adults to wear masks, social distancing within the classroom, no sharing of supplies, as well as hand sanitizing and hand washing. Please email Tiffany Reichley at tmreichley@gmail.com if you would like more information about our Church School Program!

Child care is provided on Sundays (and on other special occasions as announced) beginning at 9:15. The Nursery is located upstairs in the Parish Hall. Nursery Care begins on Sunday, September 19

Vacation Bible School - Our annual VBS program is usually held in June on the week before the fourth of July. We offer an evening program from 6:30-8:00. Please contact Tiffany Reichley at tmreichley@gmail.com if you have any questions about our VBS program.
Youth
YOM (Youth of Messiah) During this time, the youth group for 7th - 12th graders meets on scheduled Sunday evenings from 5:30 to 7 pm at the church.
