Prayer Shawl Anniversary

The Prayer Shawl Ministry is celebrating its 15th anniversary this week with the blessing of its 1207th shawl. Our small, dedicated group's membership has fluctuated over the years as we've mourned the passing of several members, but a core of 8 women continue our ministry, knitting all the shawls which have been given with prayers of comfort, support, healing and love. They've been given to those who are ill, those who grieve, and those who celebrate - baptisms, graduations, and weddings.
